Applications & Forms

How do I apply for a business license?

Business licenses can be received by submitting a filled Business License Review Form (above) in person to Community Development at City of Hampton City Hall. A fee, dependent on the size and scope of the business, will be due upon submittal.

The form will then head to Community Development staff for review and the applicant will be notified of approval and their next steps towards receiving a CO (Certificate of Occupancy) which will allow them to operate.

If you have any questions of the process, please feel free to reach out to Community Development staff.
